Yorick is the CTO of Troops. With more than 20 years in the industry, he has designed and developed systems that have made a tremendous impact on society.
- Created Drug Refill Management System for Hong Kong Hospital Authority, Drastically reducing wait time for patients who are medically reliant on prescribed medication.
- Drafted numerous standards for Chinas National Standards (GB) Linux Standards Drafting Committee
- Highly sought after for his expertise by various Chinese government organizations such as the Ministry of Information Study, Chinese Electronics Standards Institute, China Software, and IC Platform.
- Represented China in AOSSS meetings in Vietnam and Taipei
Leung Wong
Leung serves as the Development Lead of Troops. AAs a strong advocate of open-source computing, his passion stems deeper than his 15 years of working experience. Being one of Apple’s former software employees, he has helped pave the way for bringing iWork Online in cooperation with the iWork and iCloud team.
- Chairperson of Hong Kong Linux User Group
- Organizer (2013-2015) and Supporter (2016-present) of Hong Kong Open Source Conference
- An advocate of the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) Asia initiative, serving as their technical member
- Founder and developer of Stroke 5 Chinese Input Method for Android for Elders in Hong Kong and The Libcangjie on GNU/Linux
